Dudes, if ever I was to become a fan girl I would only say three names. Kyo/Yukimura SDK and before them, would be Sanosuke. Wolfy and I had the entire colledtion of DVDS, ALL of them one weekend. And you have NO idea how many times we paused scenes for the faces of Kenshin(Her claim of the series) and Sanosuke (MINE! XD!!) We sat there and awwed so many times we both went hoarse along with singing Freckles so many times. Haha still, I haven't seen the entire series and/or the ending. My other favorite characters where Captain Sagara(right name? *blinkblink* Not entirely sure if that's even the right series at the moment I'm that exhausted....hehe gomene) and the one dude I forget his name, silly me, he had the red and black stripped arms. I dunno he was just a kickass character to me.

aah, they dont make em like that anymore. its all "power of darkness" and wack story plots now. kenshin was a kool thing to have in my childhood, yahiko was the man! ofcourse munky goes with the obnoxious brat of the show.lol. he grew up to be one badass swordsmen though, the fight between him and kenji= epic.

I use to have the whole samurai X box set. Kenshin was SO more badass when he was younger and in the war. I remember popping in the "trust" dvd and his whole family got slaughtered in like the first 3 mins literally. I was speechless, didn't expect that much gore that early in the movie...then the butchering mayhem just coninued as you went through the movies. they really messed him u tho. and am I the only one a little ticed off that after all of these amazing foes he's conquered in the end it was leprosy that took him out?

oh, and vera-dude. the guy your referring to was "hattori hanzo", he had that kool lookin demon mask right? I thought he was kool too.

I want to watch the entire series again, when I first watched it I was kinda too into the animation to get to far into the story. I paid a whole butload of attention to the samurai x ova though. I fraggin lurved it. Kenshin will always be my favorite.... AAAAAAAAALWAAAAAYS....................... <(There was no obsessed labeled smiley, so I'm substituting the shocked one for the same emotion. deal with it.)

But I must say, when Yahiko grew up, he was pretty bad ass.

And as for his death, I thought nothing wrong with it, atleast it was a peaceful death, which I'm guessing is the show's way of telling the viewers that after all of the killing he has done, his mission of repentance was complete and that he had settled his bad karma.

yeh...i know...it was pretty peaceful how they just died in each others arms and she called him shinta. its just..idk, I was expecting something a little more flashy. like a real warriors death, like somethin straight out of 300 except he'd be wearing more clothes. I still believe the way they depicted his demise served the character justice, just a bit unexpected.
