Some of my friends don't consider it anime because it's not japanese. But I lurv this show!

Ok, so anyway, If anyone else likes the show, post up.

Plus I would like to say... I've seen the ending of the series. IT WAS INTENSE!!!!!!!!! Possibly one of my favorite endings to a show I've seen.

I admit it. I watched the avatar picking up halfway through chapter two where I left off and followed through all the way to Sozin's COmet. Love this show now!! Before I said it wasnt that it was okay for an amerime but it could go toe to toe on originality with some of my favorites.

Not sure it's got chinese history etymology and names, but alot of the locales and voices were found in europe and America. The fire nation's even modeled after Iceland.

ang kicked major buttox in shozens comic. didn't think the little guy had it in him. just creativity speaking alone, Avatar gets major props from me on that. the various ways they depicted and used their bending skills was awesome and very in depth. they actually put some thought into into it, like how earth benders can bend the sediment within metal or how air benders can change up the temperature in their bending in order to freeze things. very thought out and original, something the cartoon game is missing now a days.

I also admit I didn't expect the story line to be as badass as it was, it started off as just a "feel good show". then around the middle of book 2 they kicked it up like 20thousand levels into total awesomeness. from what i've learned, the story isn't even "completly" over yet. the creators are planning on doing multiple movies continuing off where the series left off, like the search for zuko's mom for instance. as far as the show goes, they said its officialy done tho. boo hoo T.T.

Dont forget how water bender's can bend plants by using the water in them, and blood bending during a full moon. But by far my favorite bending is earth bending.

If none of you caught on by now lol.

Zuko, was always my favorite char. Him and Iroh.

I haven't seen the ending. But a few of my close friends are obessessed with it. I haven't watched it recently because of how busy I've been. But I know that the ending was pretty awesome, aside from the fact that a billion people are angry that Zuko and Katara didn't end up together.....trust me I've heard all about that part......>.<

zuko already has a girl, tho that is my boy and all, ang did sorta deserve it. the poor little guy is on a never ending journey for booty, he tries so hard but always comes up short as the playful little guy you only see as a little brother. the guy mastered ALL FOUR elements AND kicked the fire lords butt at the age of 13. getting laid is the least he deserves. heck, the whole water tribe should be throwing their bra straps at him.

And Zuko deserved a girl to, he got his left I burned and went for years searching for the avatar. Though he did get a date in Ba Sing Se. But yeah zuko's one of my fav char's too, but I gotta go with Sakka. The guy cant even bendand can take down several firebenders single handedly, not mention he's a total
weapon's master/inventor/strategist/comedic relief.

very tru. sokka gets my respect for being a tactician. though he has no bending powers, he was still the team leader. he also seemed to be the voice of reason. if someone screamed "help the village is being mauled by monsters", he would simply suggest 'going in the opposite direction' like any normal person would do in real life. they sorta screwed him over though. they went through a whole ep focusing on how he crafted this badass sword and learned all these new skills, then you never saw him use it in battle again. its like he didn't even learn it. poor guy, atleast he got the chick.

and thanx duama for mentioning that date in ba sing se. Zuka was in a relationship with mai (think thats her name) the whole time and still went on that date....atta boy, thats how you do it!! jk jk. my fav charecter is actually Ang tho, simply because he's an air bender. element of wind is kool to me.

does anyone like katara?? because she seriously pissed me off on the show, I just kept waiting for her die off. but everytime she gets close to death she up and gets stronger, its like whenever danger came around she'll whip out some new kool move out of her arse.

Like her bloodbending. But yeah she wasnt exactly my favorite. She represented that anime cliche of "damsel turned heroine in face of adversity" honestly I wanted to see another male waterbender kick ass (not that Paku wasnt amazing.) Like with earth, fire and even air(through previous avatars) you could see the differnent ways both men and women utilized their respective bending differently. Y'know like the previous water avatar in Sozin's comet.
